SAP Download Manager 404 Not Found

I want to download SAP Note 1077403.

However, SAP download manager fail to download with message

"Request failed. Exception:Request failed.Exception:HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found;"

Any idea? Please help.

Hi Kit Wong,

Looks like proxy settings are not maintained correctly in SAP download manager.

In case you need to download an SAP note, you can open the SAP note and select PDF print version and then save the SAP note in PDF format on your machine.

I can download other SAP notes without error.

I want to use T-code SNOTE to implement the report SDBI_CLUSTER_CHECK mentioned in note so I think PDF version is not suitable.

The Note says...

Solution

The current version of the report has the ID
02.2009 for SAP_BASIS 46C, 46D (see SAP Note 1819965)
05.2010 for SAP_BASIS 6.20 and higher.
Always use the latest version of the report.

This current report version is available directly in the Support Packages specified in this note. Alternatively, you can use transaction SNOTE to implement the version for Basis Release 6.20 and higher.
For Releases 46C and 46D only, use the attached transport (also see Note 13719).

There is nothing to download for this note for SAP_BASIS 6.20 and higher.You have to use Tcode snote  to implement the correction instructions directly.

If you are on 46C & 46D then you have to download the SAR files attached to the note and import the transport.

Hi Wong

1.  You can download the Note directly from the download basket. its not require to use the download manager.

2. I think you are using Internet proxy server? you have to install the proxy client and then open the download manager.

Even I use download basket., only SAP note 1077403 cannot be downloaded while other notes can be downloaded without error.

When I download 1077403  in download basket, the browser also shows 404 Not found.

I do not use proxy server.

Kindly follow the steps:-

1. Browse the SMP Software page Software Downloads | SAP Support Portal

2. Select the "my Download Basket"

3. Download the SAP Note 1077403(Without download manager), if it is failed, kindly raise the incident to SAP support I think you are getting http page timeout.
