How to monitor and trigger alerts in sap pi 7.4 single stack?

How can we monitor the alerts in PI 7.4 single stack?
I have configured the scenario in which I need to get the alert in email when error occures.

I have followed this blog :

but I am not recieving any mail when File Adapter event is occured.

So how to check whether our alert configuration is correct or not? or the alert is triggered or not ?

Hi Surabhi,

Please check in Log viewer and see whether the job Alert Consumer is running as per the defined frequency or not. If it is running and the configurations are good, then alerts will be generated and sent to the configured recipients accordingly.
