Error Field Mapping between HP ALM and Solution Manager for Defect Management

Hello Experts,

We’ve been trying to configure the Solman Connector for HP QC, using the “How-to Guide Solution

Manager Adapter for SAP Quality Center by HP” all steps worked perfectly without any incident,

except that when we want to edit the Mapping Fields in HP QC, we get the Error:

“The number of required defect fields in Quality Center is different from the number of required

support message fields in application; Make Sure the number of Required fields is equal in both 

systems before you continue”

We cannot click on any button in the window and the “SAP Fields” Columns are all empty.

Our Webservices and users are correctly configured, see the screenshot below.

The “SMIN” transaction type used in the guide equal to “ZMTM” in our case.

Did you manage to resolve this? Are you using SAML connection?
