how can I edit the greyed out userid while making changes in the code?

Hello Tanya,

The solution is what Christian wrote. The configuration needs to be imported with a new user, and that user will be fixed from that on.

The reason for that is the user for the development configuration is stored in root folder of development configuration in the file buildvariant.config.

It was a requirement from DTR side to make the user fixed. This was to avoid 2 different users to work on one workspace and change files checked-out from different person.

hi tanya,

i think you have to either change the workspace and import the development configuration with the new user or to remove the current development configuration (be sure that there are no open activities) and re-import it with the new user.
