authorization of business partner Solution Manager ITSM

Hi,

I have a question regarding an authorization of business partner in Solution Manager ITSM.

In ITSM, CRM Business Roles are different according to business partner. For example, Requestor, Dispatcher and Processor.

and these roles have different CRM Web UI.

Requestor has a special CRM Web UI below screen capture.

and Processor has a special CRM Web UI below screen capture.

I want to change requestor's crm web ui from original crm web ui to processor's crm web ui.

to change the crm web ui role.

I copied solmanpro role and cusotomized solmanpro  business role.

repoter is assigned automatically in original requestor's crm web ui like 'repoted by: solman_admin'

After changing the requestor's crm web ui, manually reporter should be selected in reported by input field.

However requestor's authorizations are missing, when I select the reported by input filed, I can't input business partner.

what authorizations are related with this business partner 'reported by'?

Please reply me.

Thanks.

Hi

Add your reported by to org unit, and then try to find.

It should resolve

Thanks

Hi, Rishav

Reported by business partner is not included in org unit.

Reported by business partner is requestor who is related with sold-to-party.

However, Org unit is related with processor in support team.

I think that reported by and org unit are separated.

Hi Eunhwa

Reported By should work regardless of OU's.

So it should work with just a business partner as well.

If you have the right authorization, you can just fill in "reported by".

Hi

I would suggest to do a ST01 trace to check which authorization is missing. It should be able to show you what is checked and coming back with a non zero return code.

SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS probably has the authorization(s) you're looking for but it could be more than one object that you're missing here.

In there is for example authorization object AAAB with B_BUPA_RLT to give display authorization on business partner.

Again, tracing is probably better way to check what is being checked when you perform these actions.

Best regards

Tom
