Delete data after system copy

Hi All,

Currently we have database size approximately 5.2TB. We need to copy the database to another instance without data. I need all programs, configuration, master data, company code, etc can carry forward to new system.

I know SAP TDMS can do this, but we don't have budget to buy this stuff.

Kindly help me how to slice data without SAP TDMS?

We use Oracle 11.2.4 with SAP ECC 6 Non EHP.

Hi Edy,

You have following approaches

1) Use TDMS or SLO services to get  sliced data in to your target system ( Recommended Solution)

2) You can copy entire database to target system and then Archive all unwanted data from target system. ( Alternate Solution )

Hi Edy

You can achieve this two different ways

1. You do the normal system copy from Production to Test instance, remove all the production data based on your business need.

2. You can use the SAP client copy for your Production to test instance with SAP_CUST
