Hi all!
After we have created a Leave request (v2) in Fiori we can change and withdraw it as we like until it is posted.
Once the request is approved and posted to the system (using report RPTARQPOST) the request goes to read-only mode in Fiori. The Change and Withdraw buttons are greyed out.
Is this normal behavior? Can we customize this somewhere so that also posted requests could be changed and withdrawn in Fiori?
Note, in configuration view V_T554S_WEB we have disabled these settings:
- No Changes to Leave Permitted
- No Deletion of Leave Permitted
so they should not prevent change/delete.
Thanks in advance for any leads!
Replying to myself... we got the Change and Withdraw buttons working by implementing the following notes in the backend:
2143006 HCM Leave Request: Fixes for multiple issues
2156871 My Leave Request V2 (OData) : Leave requests which are created through infotype are not modifiable via Fiori
2160281 Approve Leave Requests V2 - Incorrect Cancellation Status fo
2167161 My Leave Request V2(OData): Workflow does not get triggered
2171401 HCM Fiori: Leave Request Modify / Withdraw not working
2172416 HCM Fiori: Leave Request: Error Status not set correctly
2174151 Workflow gets triggered on withdrawing rejected leave
2174570 HCM Fiori: Leave Request: Issues in modifying or withdrawing
Well, the journey continues since next the UI started to throw a nice error (when user presses Withdraw): "Exception Raised without specific error":
Next, we needed to find some Leave Request UI notes. And yes, this one was the key note:
0002157608 My Leave Requests V2 Modifying leave of infotype 2001
Now the Withdraw and Change seems to work
We test this more extensively in coming days and if some problems still occur I will be back (talking to myself )
