Nested HU

Hi,

My POSC process is UNLOAD > QIS > DCON > PTWY. A product is required to be packed as nested HU before putaway. I dont want this step in Unloading or QIS. How can this be achieved?

Hi Karthik,

If all these steps are in a process and this process is for all your materials then you can make this process generic to your all products else you can use process determination indicators where process is specific to prodocts.

Repacking can be done in DECON step itself (you can pack the HU in other HU while packing in DECON) or it also can be done using VAS step in your process and using VAS (determine the pack spec with multi level packing)  you can build nested HU's.

Hi Karthik,

Is the requirement only for specific products always? or the scenario can be for the same product with all the steps ?

If its product specific and the process will remain the same always you can use process determination indicator in product master and derive a new process type with new POSC settings.

After DCON and Before PTWY, Add VAS and carry out your requirement.
