Job SM:SELFDIAGNOSIS failing with a dump "COMPUTE_INT_TIMES_OVERFLOW"

Hi All,

On Solman 702 SP 16 the folowing job is failing with a dump.

Here is the complete info.

Run-time error "COMPUTE_INT_TIMES_OVERFLOW" occurred

> Short dump "150908 204127 r3smdpas_SMD_01 SOLMAN_BTC " created.

Transaction Canceled 00 671 ( COMPUTE_INT_TIMES_OVERFLOW 20150908204127r3smdpas_SMD_01 SOLMAN_BTC 101 )

Operating system call connect failed (error no. 113 )

Reason for the dump is:

In the current program "SAPLCCUS", multiplying the numbers 2916090 and

86400 (using the operation '*' or 'MULTIPLY') resulted in a value

greater than 2147483647 or smaller than -2147483648. This

results in a whole number overflow.

As per SAP Note: 1974461 the job "REFRESH MESSAGE STATUS" has been unscheduled/deleted.

I tried to rerun the job but again its failing with a dump.

Could you please help in resolving the issue?

Hi,

Please reschedule the SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR job in client 000 with user DDIC.

The Job is already running fine with user SOLMAN_ADMIN.

Do I really need to reschedule it?

I think you need to consider the ST-PI SP level in solution manager and SAP landscape.(minimum level ST-PI 2008_1_XXX SP2)

Kindly refer the SAP Note
