Measure Objects LOV's are automatically refreshed.

Hi Team,

We have a below query.

We haven't used 'Associate a LOV' option for Measure Objets creataed in our universe but we are observing that LOV's are automatically  getting refreshed for some of these measure objects. We can see those queries in Netezza Admin Console ( we are using Datbase as Netezza). And these queries are affetcting the database performance badly.

For Ex.. We have a measure Definition as ' SUM(AMT) ' and 'Associate a LOV' option is disabled for this object. But still we are getting queries executed on DB  as ' Select Distinct Sum(Amt) from FACT '

Can you please help how to stop this and tell what is causing this.

SAP BO Version: UDT 4.1 Version 14.1.2.1121

Database Version: Netezza 7.0.4

Hi,

Check if in the Universe parameters->Parameter Tab->DISTINCT VALUE-"DISTINCT" is set.Remove this one if already there and try.

if this is happening in webi side check if "retrieve duplicate rows" option in unchecked in the webi query properties window.
