Organizational value - Ranges with *

Hello,

I was wondering if giving 'From' and 'To' values both containing * works or does the SAP program ignore/reject these ranges?

e.g. If I give Profit centres as 000011* to 000022* in a role, will it grant access to 00001305 and block access to 00001010?

Hi

For values you presented it will work.

But I think profit centre will be checked with 1305 not 00001305

Then your range will be incorrect.

Correct one and more restrictive will be : 1100 to 2299
