Interfaces between ECC and EWM

HI Gurus,

Good day to you.

Need your valuable advice on the scenario below.

We have been using IM for ages. We are implementing EWM for the first time. Below are the concerns

1. all this while we are using Mvt type 103 and 105 for GR purpose including for return 104, 106 and 124.

2. it is well sync with SRM module

After EWM

1. instead of 103 we will replacing VL31N for INB to sent the data to EWM

2. return will be in EWM

3. PGR will be through 101.

Concern

1. any chances for us to use 103 to create the same data as VL31N to flow to EWM

Thanks

Hi Team

looks like non of the suggestion  is working : -

1) Create the inbound delivery for the PO with movement type 105 - ID is replicated to EWM

2) Perform the 103 posting with reference to the PO in ECC (by using MIGO)

Error Message

Unable to update inbound delivery since already distributed to dec.system

3) Perform the GR in EWM - ID in ECC . Not updated.

Thanks

HI Gurus,

Thank you so much for the advise and really appreciate that.

We tried all the possibilities given but this we found error. Below are the things that we did

1.MIGO 103

2. VL31N

3. Item Category .ELN

4. EWM PGR OK stock at Bin level

5. PGR IN ECC NG (SMQ1- Double GR) - error

6. Stock at plant level

Now the challenges is

1. Stock still at plant level

2. No Acoounting Doc posted

3. Movement Type 105 did not take place

Hi Team,

We have create below case :

1. GR via MIGO for mvt type 103 = OK

2. Item cat has been changed for mvt type 105 for Inbound delivery  = OK

3. Inbound Created in ERP and replicated to EWM = OK

4. PGR Inbound in EWM = OK

5. PGR in ECC not able to go through SMQ2 indicates exceed quantity. ECC block because it treat as double GR.

6. I guess Vinita may correct.

Any one done this please feel free to input your comments.

Thanks

Hello,

The inbound delivery should be created first as described in the note 1373027:

1) Create the inbound delivery for the PO with movement type 105 - ID is replicated to EWM

2) Perform the 103 posting with reference to the PO in ECC (by using MIGO)

3) Perform the GR in EWM - ID in ECC is updated accordingly.

Hello James,

All you need to do is clearing the queue finding the root cause.

The Inbound has line item Category ELN with movt type 105 for quantity 88EA. The error for ECC SMQ2 is

Delivered blStck qty exceeded by 88 EA . Can you tell what other changes you made to item category. Thanks

Hello Tharmen,

In EWM GR positings are done based on inbound delivieries. In note 1373027 you will find further information about two-steps goods receipts using inbound deliveries. The inbound delivery needs to be created with movement type 105. The inbound delivery should not be changed anymore after the 103 posting has taken place. Otherwise this might lead to hanging queue entries.

Hi Tharmen

You would not be able to use 103 as such but it is the same as the other Tcodes available in EWM .

101 is GR goods receipt for purchase order into warehouse/stores

103 Goods receipt for purchase order into GR blocked stock

105 Release GR blocked stock for warehouse

Now when you come in EWM when you do GR its F1 Unrestricted-Use in Putaway and

F2 Unrestricted-Use Warehouse.

Hello Vinita,

I am sorry for a small correction.

EWM will support 103, 105 Process. However, the process will go as below.

PO -> Post 103 again Purchase Order in MIGO.

Then, Create Inbound Delivery against your PO(Change your Item Category Movement type to 105). This will create Inbound Delivery and distribute to EWM.

Rest of the process remain same.

Hello Tharmen,

Movement type for your Inbound Delivery still be controlled with Item Category of your Inbound Delivery. So, you can which ever the movement type you want, you can use the process with that.

Sathish
