Hello,
If there is a report of the performance measurements of automated analytics in somewhere. According to the report, I could roughly know or imply some limitations of computing time and space with the different models of Automated Analytics.
For example, if my customer asked me that there were 20000 variables ( numeric continuous for each ) and 1000000 records in a dataset file, can it be handled by Automated ? and how much time do it needed with Clustering by Automated ? how many memory need by Automated ? Is it possible to count it ?
Thank you
Best regards,
Max
Hi Max - Yes, its possible to know how much of memory is needed to perform operations depending on the size of data (rowsxcolumns). There is a sizing guide available which would help you define the right HW needed for SAP Predictive to handle such rows+column combination. You can download the sizing guide from help.sap.com/pa

Hi Max,
Thanks for your question.
We have no official report on Automated Analytics performance measurements.
What we do have is real-life examples of customers using Automated Analytics and some of these customers do create predictive models on high number of rows and high number of columns.
So if your customer is asking if large data volumes with a similar magnitude to the ones that you mentioned can be handled, you can be affirmative.
You will need the underlying database to be able to cope with the requirements of your data set (# of columns for instance, SAP HANA as of SPS9 is not able to deal with more than 1000 columns per table).
To help you (and your customers) with the sizing and the technical specifications of Automated Analytics, please refer to our official help documents:
