TREX index issue

Hi all ,

I am trying to search one word in CV04N (Text Search within originals) which is present in 2 document's originals.

But it is not giving correct result. It should display 2 documents but it is showing only one document.

What could be the problem?? Please give your valuable inputs. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Hi Sanju,

Please check the MIME settings , System will search only for the following extension files. Check your extension of your file.

Also check the settings mentioned in link.

SPRO --

Cross-Application Components > Document Management System > General Data > Settings for Storage Systems > Create MIME types for full

text search,

Hi Nayeem,

Actually document contains ZIP file inside which PDF file exist. And I am trying to search word which is present in PDF file. And I am also not getting correct result in SKPR07.

So this might be due to ZIP file ?? Which is not in MIME type ??

Yes you are right, system will not pick the ZIP file since it is not maintained in MIME type. Try attaching the PDF file alone. It should work.

I don't think it will pick even if you maintain in MIME type for ZIP files.

After attaching the PDF, Do indexing, You can use the program RSTIRIDX  for indexing then try.

Please use PDF search option to find the word and then try the same from CV04N.Also maintain PDF in MIMIE type.

Hi,

No settings has been done.

I just deleted original file then did de-indexing through RSTIRIDX.

Again attached original file in document then did indexing through RSTIRIDX.

And it works fine!!!
