What are the schemas DEV and NEO for?

When I login into my trial account in HANA Studio, I see several schemas:

• DEV_123ABC...
• DEF_456DEF...
• EMPSAMPLEDATA
• HCP
• NEO_321CBA...
• NEO_654FED...
• NEO...
• SYS
• _SYS_BI

What are those schemas for? I especially want to know the difference between DEV and NEO.

When I tried to create a new table in one of the DEV schemas, I got an error, that I don't have enough privileges. Creating this table in a NEO schema worked for me.

Hi

Yes, you come across these schemas when you try setting up a trial account in hana cloud

NEO* is application development schema

DEV* is development user private schema
