Unable to Post /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_POST

Hi All,

I am trying to activate the Procurement Visibility Process. The FM's are triggering at the time of vreation & change of POs.However the log in SLG1-ECC shows that the RFC is unable to post the  /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_POST.

Hence no events are generated in SAP EM. The major configurations are as follows:

Assignment of Event Manager to AOTs & ETs

System Failure

However RFC test is successful.

Mapping area assignment

Event Manager in EM

I tried to debug the BAPI_EH_POST , it is triggering  & has values as well but eventually does not post any events in EM & the log is generated in ECC as mentioned.

Kindly help.

Hi Everyone,

I have wrongly assigned the ECC system as the EM logical system in the Define EM Configuration @ the EM System.

  Thanks for all the help.

FYI : Recently I faced the same issue with another client , however this time at EM Side , Client & Logical System assignment was missing. Error message can be misleading at times. 🙂

Hi Arun,

please check ST22 for a dump in EM system.

Has the RFC User enough authorization to create EHs?

Best regards,

Steffen

There were  Dumps in ST22 stating the FM: "/SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_GET_DATA" is not available. But when i check the same in EM system it is available.

Also the RFC USer is currently having all the authorization including:/SAPTRX/SAP_AS_ADMIN &/SAPTRX/SAP_EM_ADMIN.

This sounds strange.

FM: is not available would indicate that the wrong system was called.

Hi Arun,

In your EM manager screen shot, RFC is pointing to EC6CLNT120 box. IS this destination ECC or EM? If T81* is the EM system, then you should have T81CLNT120 as your destination in Event Manager.

Please check and let us know.

Thanks,

Vishnu

I Vishnu,

There are 2 Define EM Nodes. One in ECC & another in EM.

In ECC this is the config:

RFC is from ECC to EM System- Event Manager is SCEM

In EM System the config is:

The RFC is from EM to ECC System

Is this setting wrong??

Hi Arun,

you only need to make the settings in the ECC system.

In EM system you need to make the settings in /SAPTRX/TSC0AS back to the ECC system for acknowledgement and log transfer.

Best regards,

Steffen
