How to transfer ticket's(SLFN) data from solman 7.0 to new solman 7.1 system

Hi Experts,

Previously we were using SolMan 7.0 system for incident management but now we have configured ITSM in new SolMan 7.1. 

Everything is working fine but we are not able to find any way to migrate tickets data(SLFN) from old solman 7.0 system to new Solman system.

Customer wants those historical data of old SolMan 7.0 system in new SolMan system.

Could anyone please help us on migrating data from old to new solman system???

Hi Rahul

This isn't foreseen by standard SAP. I've upgraded the SAP Solution Manager system of customers who wants to keep their history because of this particular reason instead of installing a fresh SAP Solution Manager 7.1.

This is noted in SAP notes / upgrade guide regarding upgrade to SAP Solution Manager 7.1.

However, migration of those tickets is possible of course since SAP is based on a database. Some external parties have created solutions to do just this, one example here:

I've got no idea how good this really is, just providing you relevant information here so you know what kind of solutions are out there.
