Unable to generate stack file for new system

Dear Team,

Our requirement is to generate stack file of Pdu system

We have added New system(SID:PDU) of Enterprise Portal into Solution manager7.1 .

Following activities are  completed till now.

1.Push sld of Pdu system to Solution manager is successfully completed

2.Create product using solman_workcenter->managedconfiguration->pdu->configure system->Edit assignment is successfully completed.

3.Create logical component using smsy and assign solution to new logical component using solman_workcenter.

While generate stackfile for pdu system using maintaince optimizer,it is not showing the product version.

Please find the screen shot for your reference,

Here Pdu(sld) is not showing..

Hello,

It is not necessary to create logical components for your system,  to operate with Maintenance Optimizer .

You can go to LMDB,  go to the Netweaver product version of your system, and choose the option 'create Maintenance Optimizer transaction'

You can also open the Maintenance Optimizer , then choose 'no solution ' in the solution drop-down, choose the product version of your system, and it should be there. If it is not, repeat with other product versions you might have assigned to your system.

If your system does not appear for selection, check that at least one product instance is marked as installed and assigned in LMDB for your system.

Hi Imran,

Can you check in LMDB for system PDU, whether relevant product version is available and assigned. Also can you attach PDU screenshot from LMDB.

Hi Imran,

Have you created logical component correctly, it seems there is issue with logical component as it is not created under correct product version. You should use SAP Netweaver 7.4 as product version for PDU system.

Can you create new logical component under SAP Netweaver 7.4 and assign PDU system to it. Further you should use this logical component in solution.

Also LMDB screenshot shows product version and product instance data is manually supplied rather than Automatically by data suppliers.

Please upload the Logical component screenshot from SMSY showing product version and system, please check with which Product version PDU system is assigned to.

Hi Imran,

This data should be supplied to LMDB by SLD. If PDU is not being used in any functionality in solution manager and then you can delete PDU system in LMDB and can be recreated by pushing the data from SLD to LMDB.

But as I look into the LMDB screenshot, PDU landscape verification is successful and green; so as of now there is not much required to recreate the system, unless we observe any error related to this.

Also as mentioned did you check correct Product version mapped to Logical component in SMSY.

I have created correct logical componet using lmdb and assign the solution to it.

Downloading the stack file using MOPZ,still PDU system is not showing in MOPZ
