Hi,

Did the CPIC logon really failed.

Please refer to the following note which says the SM20 logon might not reflect the right picture.

<a href="https://websmp110.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=0000774406&nlang=E">774406</a>

If the logon really failed because of authorization try giving him the highest level of access and see if its able to logon if even with that its not able to logon then perhaps its to do with the settings

Also see if the profile paramters

pertaining to CPIC logon are appropriately set.

login/disable_cpic has to be 0 for CPIC logon

Hello,

Please check the following

-->The type of user being used ( For CPIC calls the usertype should be Communication user but not dialog or service)

-->The user is valid and is not locked

-->If the user has required authorizations to perform this task

Award Suitable points if found helpful

With Regards,

Thanks for the update:

Below is my reply

->The type of user being used ( For CPIC calls the usertype should be Communication user but not dialog or service) ==> yes, it is a communicatiion

-->The user is valid and is not locked => is valid and not lock

-->If the user has required authorizations to perform this task => what authorization does he need? Right now, he has the profile of S_A.CPIC

As per log, it says 'user_not_allowed'....it seems there is a problem with user access....Try with profile S_CPIC_ALL or S_SAPCPIC.

also, check whether any more details are available in SM21.

I tried to add S_CPIC_ALL or S_SAPCPIC but it stated profile xxx does not exist or is not active.

AM21 also does not show any thing

Create a new role and add the reqiuired authorization object to it manually and assign it to the user and check if this solves the problem

adding further the error code and its implications are as follows:

<a href="https://websmp110.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=0000320991&nlang=E">SAP Note</a>

verify if the logon data (client, username, password)is correct

Thanks Manohar Kappala. I believe indeed it is caused by sapinfo which is trigger by my script.
