Hi All,

we have requirement from the client we want to open the period of the assets for particular assets class only not for all assets , we have tried in AJRW transaction code but in that t code opening period for all assets class which is there in the company code , our client wants to change the fiscal year only for the particular assets class not for the all assets class

we have already tired with AJRW but it will not suit our requirement can any one help us

Hi Inayat,

It is not possible to change fiscal year for particular asset class.

I agree with Prashant, you can lock the unwanted asset class in AM05 for specific time period and then unlock them once your work is done.

In Inayat,

If your scenario is only to open period for short period for particular asset class and post adjustments in those asset classes and then close the period? You can deactivate unwanted asset class through AM05 additionally. This will make sure no postings happens in unwanted asset class.

Hi Inayat,

Asset fiscal year change runs at co.code level not at asset class level. It is not possible to run for few asset classes.

But our client has more than 200 assets class they don't want to carry transactions for the all the assets class they want to carry only 50 assets class transactions please help , we searched all t code as the company  code level , please help or give us any other solutions
