I would like to know the experience of the SAP APO as a Add on With ECC implementation in the Area of Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning with respective following points.

- Implementation Time line

- Challenges for Implementation

- Advantages

Hi Anjali,

Based on scope,Typically timeline for implementation are

APO-DP :  16-26 Weeks.

APO-SNP : 22-35 Weeks

Challenges -

Master Data Cleanup and Maintenance

Change Management - People/Process/Technology.

Project scope creeps.

and now IBP or Standard APO or APO on Hana etc

Hi, Anjali,

This note will help you. Regarding other things--

Timeline - Depends upon the business scenarios.

Advantages - DP can do forecasting with better option compared to ECC (much more flexible), SNP does the network planning (ecc can't do that) and PPDS can do prodction planning and capacity planning with many heuristics provided. Other information you can find in help.sap.com
