Excel files in SAP PO/PI 7.4

Hi All,

I have a requirement where I need to process excel file. Do we have any standard solution/modules availiable or provided by SAP to process this.

I understand that we can deploy adaper modules or write Java code to process it.

I am just looking if any such functionality is provided by SAP.

Hi,

Don't see any standard module provided by SAP to read excel file, but u can check this...

If it doesn't work, then writing custom module is the only option.

I also dont see any Standard Adapter module.

Hello Janus,

You can also use the Format Conversion Bean developed by Eng. He has also provided the direct EAR file, you just need to deploy it using NWDS or give it to Basis team and ask them to deploy it.
