planning on DSO in BI7.0

Hi everybody,

i was informed that it is possible in BI7.0 to create an editable query based on DSO, but i really can't find any documents or help about this subject. I know, it was planned from SAP to realise it. Does anybody know wheather it is really true or it has been realised?

Hello Ali,

that's a misunderstanding. You can use a DSO within a MultiProvider and then build your planning applications on the MultiProvider. However in BI 7.0, you can NOT write back to the DSO. Plan data needs to be saved into a Real-Time InfoCube.
