Hello power users,
follwoing issue ...
inspection scope = 2 --> inspection characteristiv is not closed automatically
- 2 measurement results entered
inspection scope = 1 --> inspection characteristiv is closed automatically
- 2 measurement results entered
What may be the reason?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
Automatic closure can only work with Fixed Scope. With any other scope the system has no way of knowing if inspection is complete.

What's the issue ?
If you are looking for behavior of the Inspection scope, then you'll get all the info by using F1 help. You may also want to refer the Valuation mode of the sampling procedure.
And if there is something else, please let us know the issue with all details.

Hi Mike,
Are you sure that you are checking both examples MIC's in same plant?
As far as I understand, in MIC Inspection Scope = 1 [Scope Not Fixed] -> Inspection Units has to be manually entered during Result Recording (RR), and MIC Inspection Scope = 1 [Fixed Scope] -> Number of inspection unit is pre-calculated in Result Recording (RR) and System valuation can be possible.
This above logic goes well with the Plant level RR configuration -
Quality Management => Basic Settings => Maintain Settings at Plant Level => Plant Name => Result Recording tab
Please check if this is same for both the examples you suggested above.
