how to apply sap note

i have one problem in my dev server . i want to apply sap note .

pls tell me how to apply a sap note my R3system.

If your SAP system configure with OSS

1. Execute T-code SNOTE

2. Give the note number you want to apply

3. R3 will connect to OSS via RFC and download the note for applying

If not

Then go to http://www.service.sap.com/notes

and type the note number and just click on download correction and then execute the t-code snote and upload the downloaded note

To add to all the above points, sometimes notes are also applied manually.

This will be in case of not allowing some changes to be done thru SNOTE Tcode, as it has too got it's own limitations.

So for successful implementation of OSS note, you need to get cumbersome with ABAP & Coding part too.

Hi

You download sap note sapservice/notes and enter note number then download sapnote on your system and enter t code SNOTE then Goto--->upload note.

Then implement this note.after apply this show green signal.

Hi

You have two options for applying the SNOTE:

1.If your SAP system is configures thru router and connected to SAP then directly you can download the note from SAP system

2. If router not configured then you can download the note from

service.sap.com/notes

The procedure for applying a note:

- Execute the transaction SNOTE in the SAP system

- In the menu..Goto -> Download SAP Note (if connected to marketplace)

otherwise Goto->Upload SAP Note

- If downloading from marketplace then specify the note number in the screen and continue (execute)

else if uploading select the file from the local system and upload (browse)

- Once that is done then you can see the note on the screen. You will be able to view the note number on the screen

- Select that particular note number and click on the execute button to Implement the SNOTE into the system.

Also there before applying the note you can display the note and test the note.

Also you can view the modification browser and the modification adjustments.

By menu Goto->Logs you can view the log as well.

Hi Mahesh,

You can use SNOTE transaction to download the specific note from OSS.

1. Execute T-code SNOTE

2. Give the note number you want to apply

3. R3 will connect to OSS via RFC and download the note for applying

4. Before applying make sure that you read the note completely and its PROS & CONS

As informed you can download the sap note on your system using SNOTE>Goto>Download SAP Note ( give sap note number that you need to implement and execute) this will download the SAP note on to your system. Later make a find and locate this SAP note under New category on the screen. When you double click on that particular SAP note you will see a message against Implementaion status showing either that note can be implemented or not. Check for the system details ( SAP release,DB,patch levels etc) and make the changes as suggested in the Note on your system to implement the SNote

Apply sap note??????????????????????????????I could not get it.Can you tell me what note you are applying and what issue you are facing.Applying a note means following the instructions given in the note.

Open the note from http://service.sap.com/notes

Give the note number

Read the instructions in that note

Apply the same,i mean perform the same on ur dev server.
