Can i able to add long text in VD51

Hi,

I have a small requirement. My Client wants to enter the data At VD51.

But here the problem is , customer Description is 40 Characters only,I would like to Enter More than 40 Characters  Can i able to create long text.at row level. I need your Valuable suggestions.

Please use Log Text field at the item level , It can be extended upto Length 72 (C)

Where is the long text filed.

Should i add the field in  se75  under knmt. Right now i had not done anything.

Please tell your Functional consultant to help you with Customer -Material info record "customizing  Text determination" configuration .

You will be able to main text for every line item .
