Conversion of BW Query data to XLSX

Hi Experts,

I want to convert a BW Query,which fetch the master data to an xlsx file.

To fetch BW Query content, I use the FM  RRW3_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA.

No wfrom the parameters,imported ,      e_axis_info, e_cell_data,e_axis_data how can I convert the same to XLSX file?

please guide.

Hi,

Using Analysis Process Designer (APD) will let you export query to CSV..Then you may load this to your provider..

Hi Abin,

Have you tried with "Export to Microsoft Excel" in the BEx Query portal?

Create the Query in Query Designer and Execute the Query, and select export to Microsoft excel through which you can get the BW query data in to an Excel file.

And as Jagan said, you can also use Information Broadcasting to get the query data into Excel.

But I need to upload the excel file to application server.

Hi Abin,

For uploading the excel file to Application server you can use FM's ARCHIVFILE_SERVER_TO_CLIENT/ ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_SERVER from Server to Local Machine or vice versa.

Once this is successful you can trigger load into info provider.

Had you tried the Information Broadcasting in BI ?

If you have BO Environment you can use BO Scheduling as well.

I had converted the BI query into XML form using the FM RRW3_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA.

My requirement is to convert the Query to XML and Excel forms and to place these in application server.

please guide.
