Work center xxxx does not exists in plant xxxx error in WM6.2

Hi Experts,

We are downloading work orders based on operation level work center. We have renamed the work center name from 'xxxx' to 'xxxx' in ECC. Perfromed reset of the application in mobile device.Now the orders are downloaded with the new work center name.But when we are trying to edit/perform some changes to the orders in device and sync back to ECC "Work center 'xxxx'(old work center name) does not exists in plant error" has been encountered.

Kindly suggest if this might be the error in back end while changing the work center name.

Can you please cross verify again while editing or changing the value of work-center/ plant is changing in Client/ Java?

This kind of error normally generate only in this scenario. whatever workcenter you have defined in user parameter table same needs to pass from client.

Hi,

I am editing the values in client and there is no reference to old work center name in the device.Can you please suggest where to check the entry of work center in "user parameter table".Is it su01d tcode. Previously we have changed the names of the work centers in ECC but have not encountered this type of error.Kindly suggest.

Sravanti,

yes you can see the workcenter name in su01 t-code with VAP parameter.

while editing please don't modify the value of workcenter. The workcenter that you have defined in su01 parameter group based on that workorder's are getting downloaded to client.

I have checked in SU01d .We have not maintained work center name with parameter.We have only maintained parameter ID for plant and user group.Kindly suggest.

Sravanthi,

while using assignment type 6 or 8. we need to pass this entries in su01 parameter group.

can you please try by passing parameter value for "VAP" parameter.

Please keep in mind while editing the workorder/ notification from device dont modify the workcenter value. keep it as it is.
