Do you have any experience in Real estate domain Also do you have any knowledge in SAP FI-CO module, if yes you can make it easily.
If not you need to understand the business process of Real estate leasing & Selling of real estate its nature of business and day to day activities and documentation (Internal / external) required related to that.
What kind of charges are applicable in RE and taxes using in RE domain (Service tax / With holding tax..etc) try to get it first at a overview how the financial dealings are happening and what are the pre-lease/sales and post lease/sales activities ..etc.
Then you can able to to Understand the SAP RE-FX module easily.This module is closely integrated with SAP FI-CO module, its better to have a basic knowledge on FI-CO also if you can.
As suggested by experts in above replies please refer those links and books for understanding the RE-FX module in practical WRT to SAP.
Initially Try to refer the link suggested in above (Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) - SAP Library) to get a module overview then refer RE010 & RE 200 Books will helps you a lot to understand the REFX process cycle. RE300 (LUM) is a country specific which you can have it later stage after getting the basic.
