Hi Experts,

How to create multiple consumers in component based alerting?

I have followed Michal's blog but not able to understand for multiple consumers.

Does any one has any solution. Please help me out.

Hi Pallavi,

You can create Consumers either in:

1. ID (for Alert Rule) Or

2. In Configuration & Monitoring --> Configuration & administration -->Common --> message alert Configuration

How to raise alerts in BPM process? I have done this using ARTCATDEF transaction.Is there any other process.Please help me out.

We can set alerts in BPM using control step.

Thanks for your reply.

As you mentioned we can do this using control step but later again we need to use ALRTCATDEF transaction. We don't want to use that. We want all the alert configurations and procedures on java stack only.

Please help me out.

Hi Pallavi,

If you configure the alerts in BPM what is your requirement to do the the alert configuration again for BPM?

For normal scenarios we have to do the alert configuration in ALRTCATDEF  an define alert rules in RWB.


Let me know if my understanding is correct?
