Process Chain is triggered automatically

Dear All,

Please help, strange issue occurs here.

I have 1 new Process Chain (PC Clear) and existing Process Chain (PC Calculate).

I do embed PC Clear to PC Calculate like picture as below.

The problem is, when I have transported this 2PC, the PC Calculate is automatically triggered and run the calculation.

How come this happen ? Have anybody experienced this before ?

Hi Richard,

    Please check this note#1233327. As per note, we need to add entry in the RSADMIN table to avoid this issue.  Hope it helps.

check NO_TP_SCHEDULE_IMMEDIATE parameter in rsadmin table, this needs to be checked(X).

Hi Richard,

at Dev system, if your chain was schedule as immediate start(direct scheduling) then after transport your chain will start automatically in qua/prod.

To avoid that better to change your chain scheduling as Meta chain and transport chain to prod.

Later you can change scheduling meta chain to direct scheduling and schedule as you need by giving date/time, periodic values.

Hi Richard,

Remove your Process chain from Schedule in Planning view & then enter the new parameters as to whenever you want to schedule & then activate & click on schedule button .

Hi Richard,

Adding to Umashankar advice, when ever you make some enhancements to process chains please follow below steps.

In the production --> You need to remove desired process chain from the schedule and don't forget to capture the schedeling properties.

                                 (Menu -->Execution --> Remove from the schedule)

Then you can carry with transports and schedule it again as it was.

Hi Richard,

Please change the start condition of the both process chains to some future date and time (OR even start using metachain) and then transport.

Hope you have authorization to change the timings in production, if yes once the process chain transported to production. Please change the timings to immediate OR whatever the desired condition.

It will work, we have tried the same way.

Since the start condition is immediate, once it imported system will start the process chain.
