AVL data - Vendor details ?

I'm doing an AVL conversion using function modules

BBP_PD_AVL_CREATE

BBP_PD_AVL_SAVE.

Though the above function module creates an AVL that shows in BBP_PD,

i'm unable to see any item or vendor details in the portal screen.

I tried using the function module BBP_PD_AVL_UPDATE but it's throwing

me errors. I tried populating the header, organization, item and

partner details.

It says " Enter atleast one item that is active " or sometimes "

Buffer Not Up todate".

Should i pass the same details that i pass for BBP_PD_AVL_CREATE to

BBP_PD_AVL_UPDATE ?

What should i do to get the vendor detail on the SRM portal screen?
