How can i cancel a import?

Hi all,

i start on friday the Import of SAP-JEE,SAP-BUILDT,SAP-JTECHS,SAPPCUI_GP and SAP-ESS. Because of an maintenance action on saturday the server shutdown.

How can i cancel the import in the CMS?

The state in the CMS is "Import running" but the last action in the log file was on saturday before the shutdown. I have stop and restart the system again, but the same state

Did somebody now, who i stop this process?

Hi Markus,

In that case, just select the entry in CMS and click on the button "Unlock selected component". It will be present in the right corner of the table toolbar.

This will change the state back to Waiting for import. Then you can try to import it again.

Hi Markus,

To cancel the import,

1. goto CBS http://host:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc.CBS.WebUI/WebUI

2. login using nwdi_adm

3. click on requests

4. in the advanced search tab, enter the appropriate date and search

5. Select the request you want to canel in the table

6. And click on cancel or suspend button below the table.

7. In sometime, you will get a "import failed" status in the CMS.

8. You can restart the import then.

Hi Sangeeta,

i try this, but i found only two entries in all buildspaxes (Buildspace independent search):

600 SUCCEEDED INIT_COMPARTMENT NWDI_CMSADM

599 SUCCEEDED INIT_COMPARTMENT NWDI_CMSADM

both entry have the state confirmed with a green sign.

But in the CMS i have stll the stats "import running"

Have you a other idea?
