Hi,
I am new to ECC.I have integration from ECC to SAP ME and my BOM is created in SAP ECC and then moved to ME. I want to know how can I track the changes to BOM-either by audit logs in SAP ME or any transaction in ECC.What is the best possible way?
Many Thanks .
Hi Amrit,
First of all please understand from the SAP ECC team how they are changing the BOM. I.e. if you take mechanical industries they will change the BOM with reference to the ECN (Engineering change number)
if this is there means you can be able to track when the BOM has been changed and who has changed
if you don't have ECN then you can check in CS80 Transaction code

Hi Amrit,
It would be good to track it in ECC and to transfer data from ECC automatically, you can write a batch job as well.
Thanks!

Dear Amit,
You Can track the changes in BOM through CC03 OR CC33 In SAP
Procedure is:
1) Make ECN by CC31
2) Approve or Release it by CC32
3) Make Changes in BOM by CS02 or Mass changes CS20 against ECN
4) Release ECN again through CC32
Track the Changes through CC33 OR CC03

Dear Amrit,
Is the BOM created in ECC with Change Number?
If yes, you may check the report via t-code CC03. You can click on Environment --> Report
Thanks

Dear Amrit,
if you work with material BOM you can use CS80 to display BOM changes.
