Hi all,
I want to know if it still possible to install SAP Solution Manager on Windows X86 32bit,
I have searched on Technical documentation, but no clear statement was found.
Can you help me please ?
Regards.
Hello Salah,
You did not specify the Windows version, but yes, Win 32bit operating systems are also supported. Please check the PAM matrix for further details. As I see the only 32bit OS is the Windows Server 2003 32bit.

Peter

Thank you Peter,
I already saw this matrix ( PAM matrix ), but I found only options for Windows IA32 32bit, does this work on Windows (with processor) X86 32bit ?
My best Regards.
Salah.
Hello Salah,
Exactly, IA32 = 32bit. But this does not specify the exact Windows version. As I see 32bit is only available for Windows Server 2003. All the others (2008, 2012, Win7) support x64 only.
Best Regards,
Peter
Thank you Peter,
Yes, in 32bit : IA32 = X86-32bit,
But, in 64bit : IA64 <> X86-64bit,
Except Windows Server 2012.
Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and Windows7 are all available on IA-32.
see the link below for more information,

Best Regards,
Salah.
Hello Salah,
IA64 indicates achitecture for the Itanium CPUs. It is also 64bit architecture, however different from the x86_64, which uses the x86 instruction set.
Indeed those Windows releases come in 32bit and 64bit versions, but for SolMan 7.1 you will need the 64bit version from them (2008, 2012, etc)
Best Regards,
Peter
