Need help installing SAP NW

Hi All,

I am busy trying to get a home lab set up for my studies, but have run into a wall. When trying to run the installation of SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SR2, I get the error in the image.

Where can I get this UC Kernel NW740 SR2 from, and what do I need to do once I have it?

Hi Craig,

You need to download below DVD for the sap kernel of your NW installation. The DVD number will be 51049350 based on your OS version you can download respective one.

SAP Kernel 7.42 Windows Server on x64 64bit

Do download and provide in the kerenl directory path of your installation.

Awesome Ram, that worked, thanks! I've had to do a bit of troubleshooting along the way but I am now installing my first system on my lab PC so all good!

Hi Craig,

If you share your mail id then I can send you the document. I also recently installed NW 7.4 on Windows and SQL Server Database
