https port change in WSDL

Hi folks,

I am using PI 7.31 to publish webservice and my WSDL URL endpoint is getting wrong port for https. I have configured https port 50443 and my WSDL is taking 50001.

Do you know which parameter should I change to get the correct one?

Thanks in advance.

Roberto.

Hi Roberto,

You can check the https port configured for the PI system by navigating through

NWA-->Configuration-->Infrastructure-->System Information

AFAIK, we can not change this parameter.

Hi,

I have the correct one in there the problem is WSDLs are generated with another port.

Hi Roberto,

Is this issue occurring for all webservice sender scenarios when you are generating the wsdl.

Can you check the below snotes which might help you

1263112 - HTTPS port number (443) instead of HTTP in endpoint URL

1238429 - Error in WSDL generation for access using HTTPS

Thanks for your try but notes are not helping too much, different error.

I have no issues with http and https calls, my problem is that https port mismatch between WSDL and real one working.

cheers,

Roberto.

Try below and see if it helps

  1. Go to SLD -> CIM Instances
  2. Subset ( classes with instances) -> Class ( HTTP Service Port) -> Filter *SOAP*
  3. From the returned result set
    • select "Port for SOAP of af.<<sid>>.<<hostname>>
    • go to properties -> under secure URL -> update the port

Used below note as a reference : 1583506 - FQDN missing from generated WSDL URL in PI Directory
