Information Design Tool Error

I'm trying to create a new IDT project but I'm failing at the first hurdle. I've typed in the project name 'Project_Sage' and selected a location 'S:\Public\Business Objects\IDT\Projects\Sage'  and I keep getting the error message:

Projects cannot be created in the root directory of a drive (for example C: or D:). Select another location.

I thought the location I'd selected wasn't the root of the directory so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

S:\Public is some network drive location or your machine disk location?

try to create  project with default location.

drive/.businessobjects/bimodeler_14/workspace
