PSN: "Review needed"

Hello,

Our supplier contacted me as PSN notified them: "Review Needed", see snapshot below.

1. Who needs to review and what?

2. No changes have been done to the item/s, why does PSN remind to do this?

I hope my questions are clear, if not please let me know.

Hi Marni,

the "Review Needed" notification is send automatically by PSN if there is an update in the regulatory content provided by PSN. E.g. this happens if there is an update in the REACH substance list (typically new substances are addded). This notofication is send to all companies who have declarations on PSN.

In this case all existing declarations have to checked if the change has an impact on the correct status of their product declarations. If there is no impact just release the decrations as is. In case of impact (e.g. new REACH sustance is in the product) the declaration has to be changed.
