Guru's,

When opening a DIR in WebUI users get a message "A plugin is not responding.Possibly plugin is deactivated or not installed" in web UI.What is could be the possible issue for this. This happens intermittently. There is no message number.

Kindly advise.

Thanks & Regards

Hello Jo - You may only need to click on the "Use ACM" checkbox for DIR type.  So, I believe that in your case, you would go to transaction DC10 & select DIR Type "DWG".  You would then click on the aforementioned checkbox.

Hi Jo,

Please let us know if you got any solution.

We have the exact issue.

Uninstall   of Java and ACF then reinstall the current versions did not work.

The error appears only first time when we access the screen and vanishes subsequently.

But it is still a major issue.

We started seeing the error when we upgraded from EHP6 to EHP7. You need to either enable Java caching or install Java 8 update 51 or higher.

Then check the Java cache setting. If it's already enabled purge the cache.

Sam,

Please explain on how you would do this. Is this something to do with the Java Console.

I have added sites and have set it Restore Defaults.

Kindly advice.

Control Panel - Java - Temporary Internet Files - Settings - Delete Files. Make sure Keep temporary files on my computer is checked.

Hi Jo,

if you just simply uninstall Java and ACF then reinstall the current versions it should be ok.

The problem persists even with update 73. What is the solution?

HI Jo,

You can find the right installation  package for ACF in the following SAP Note .

1402024 - SAP Active Component Framework 7.12 - Patch Note

Thanks,

Hi Jo,

1. try to reinstall JAVA JRE. The current one. You can download it from the java site.

2. try to reinstall SAP ACF. You can download it from service marketplace.

Best regards
