Hi,

We are facing an issue with one of our design with respect to HUs and hoping someone could add some clarity to the same.

The existing business process within ECC is to:

1. Create a sales order in ECC.

2. Create 1 delivery for the given SO in ECC.

3. Once the deliveries are created in ECC the information regarding the same is sent to WM.

4. At some point in time WM invoices all the deliveries in their system and send the information back to SAP.

5. We have custom program built to receive this info. This program pick/packs/creates HUs/pack HUs and finally performs PGI.

The above solution works fine.

There was requirement to change the above process a bit based on business needs.

1. Instead of 1 delivery we will be creating multiple deliveries in ECC for 1 SO.

2. The info about all these deliveries are sent to WM.

3. WM invoices all these deliveries and send the info one XML.

4. It is possible that articles from different deliveries can be added to the same carton in WM in order to use space as much as possible.

5. The problem is when we receive this info, SAP does not allow to share the cartons between different deliveries.

Is there any config that can allow sharing of carton info between deliveries?

Vikram,

Could you explain why the business is asking for multiple deliveries to be created? It would seem to me that rather than trying to pack multiple deliveries into one carton, you would instead be wanting to potentially pack product from multiple sales orders into a single delivery. If we better understand the reason(s) for the requirement, we may be able to suggest a good solution for you.
