APO and EIS Interface

Hi there - anyone out there using EIS and APO together? I have a question about how you are utilizing APO Alerts in conjunction with EIS.

Hi Michelle

We have APO and EIS(earlier referred as Smartops) integrated. We send out forecast data (CSV File) to EIS on weekly basis and alongwith some key master data(Tlane details) to EIS. EIS does the Safety Stock calculation. We load Safety Stock data(CSV file) into APO.

Database alerts are run in APO. Example- Supply Shortage by Demand Type, Supply Shortage by Safety Stock etc. Planners review those alerts on daily basis.
