AUDIT FINDINGS IN SAP SUPPORT PROJECTS

    Hello gurus,

Can any one can explain what are the key area of audit or drill down can be done for SAP support projects so that we can know that the sap consultant who is doing the changes or fixes are correct?????

Hi Arun,

Normally, for configuration and workbench adjustments, change requests will record the changes.

Change request can tell who did the modification, but it cannot tell whether it's right or not. Technically, if a CR cannot be released because of activation issue, it means the adjustment has technical issue. But even if it's technically right, it may have logic problems. So to determine whether the changes or fixes are correct, consultants should perform functional tests.

I suppose the best way to avoid unexpected problems(incorrect changes) is to ensure the quality of management of consultant and authorization .
