Kernel for Webdispatcher 7.20

Hi All,

I am trying to install webdispatcher 7.20( standalone), unfortunately i am stuck at Kernel Path, i have downloaded the kernel file 51049432_6( Kernel 7.21), it does not work and throws the below error. Also i have tried with other kernel files it does not work, i have checked the blogs based on which i have downloaded the X64_64 file unicode kernel, still it does not work, please help me with the kernel file number and the path to download it.

Try with administrator user.

I believe you are using sidadm

1. I think you have to download the Kernel 7.21 from SAP service market place

refer SAP Kernel 721_EXT:Dxxxxxxxx:*:D51049439

2. Could you refer the SCN Wiki link for SAP Webdispatcher

As per your screenshot you have provided Krnl_7.21_WIN_IA32_IA64 to the installer.But you said that you have downloaded x86_64 kernel.Are you giving the correct one based on your OS architechture?

I checked for the Kernel file in service market place, same i have given the path

attaching the image.

Can you please try with below..

51049439_4 721_EXT UC Kernel.Also if you expand the erro pop up,it will give you some more information I believe.

I think you have to download the latest version of SAP Web dispatcher or SWPM. before that check the SAP Note as already mention by RAHAMAN.

I am following note 908097, and as per the instructions given( which is for nw 7.42, i am applying the same steps for nw7.2) the kernel file should be 51049432_6, which does not work.

Also during that Kernel DVD Error popup it should show like below.."Found the level SAP:XXX:Version.....but need the label "XXXXX".That can give you a good idea too.

Hi,

I believe if WebDispatcher 7.20.0 ( Not 7.40) is THE requirement then may be you need to use old SWPM.

Hi Mofizur,

As mentioned by SS, i have installed Webdispatcher 7.42(no errors on this, ran absolutely fine), as i was unable to find the kernel for Webdispatcher 7.2( if you get it please let me know in future), now working on SSL configuration for it.

Thanks, yes i have installed Webdispatcher 7.42, which can be installed with SWPM SPS08( using the swpm file not the 70swpm file). Next step configuration of SSL.
