Can a project creator in cProjects Assign himself a role?

Hi friends

In our cProjects system , when a creator of a project, tries to assign himself to a role, the system is giving a short dump.

When any other user is assigned to a role, there is no problem. The short dump as shown below is encountered.

Note

The following error text was processed in the system CPQ : The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.

The error occurred on the application server etdspq01_CPQ_00 and in the work process 0 .

The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

The ABAP call stack was:

Hi Kedar,

The copied infomation about the short dump to less to make a guess. The better way is use the hotpackage information to search, if there is a note to solve the error. Please try key words like staffing, message_type_x etc.

I found out the problem.

I am creating a role "Buyer"

In the SPRO activity "define project roles per project type" the default authorizations for this role include Admin , write, read and also "No Auth".

This " no auth" is causing the short dump. When I remove that " nO auth" there is no problem.

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

But actually this issue should be solved with the note 960468, which deal with the authorisation conflicts.

If you should have full permissions, then only you can assign any roles to anybody/yourself also.
