Hi Sahiti,
DMZ means demilitarized zone.
is a physical or logical sub network that contains and exposes an organization's external-facing services to a larger and untrusted network, usually the Internet. The purpose of a DMZ is to add an additional layer of security to an organization's local area network (LAN).
You need to check with the client that to access that DMZ do we need use certificate based authentication?. The firewall ports to be open between PI and DMZ.

Raju

Hi Shaiti,
DMZ is not a protocol is a secure subnet, in this subnet you don't have access to internet. In this way in the bank will set the PI IP inside its secure zone, in this way they set PI IP as IP with access to his networks via Apache Tomcat or similar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMZ_%28computing%29). You only need to know what protocol uses the bank, normally files. You basis have to talk with the bank basis guy to let the connections.
