Axis Framework Licensing

Hi ,

We have enabled SOAP Axis Framework and configured SOAP Adapter to authenticate to WSSE Services by installing the required jar files as per the below blog from prabhat sharma :

The jar files are library files and can be used to enable SOAP Axis framework in SAP PI .Do we have any document that specifies that Axis Framework do nt require any licensing as it requires only additional files to be deployed to enable the framework .

Our client is looking for a documentation that specifies that SOAP Axis Framework doesnot require any licensing .Please share if we have any document that specifies the same.

Hi Rajesh,

Axis is a free API. You can check in the APACHE foundation the license Apache License, Version 2.0

Thanks Inaki Vila for the prompt reply .As axis framework enablement doesnot require any license just wanted to know if we have anything specified from SAP that these are free API's and donot require licensing so that the same can be taken up to the client?

I didnot find anything on Axis Framework in the above link so just want to make sure if iam referring to the right document.
