Hello all,
We are setting up Hana landscape and one of the requests from customer is to provide high availability with close to zero downtime. We did some testing with System Replication and it took about 30 seconds when Hana system was not responsive.
Does anyone have some numbers for:
- Recovery time with System Replication
- Recovery time with Host Auto Failover
I understand that System Replication is supposed to have shorter recovery time, but I need to have some numbers and if anyone has them from experience, that would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Bakhtiyar
Hi Bakhtiyar,
This will vary from customer to customer and the network configuration they have.
From the numbers that I know, I think 30 seconds is absolutely fine.
Would be interesting to know the time system takes to load all the tables in memory.
Do you have any RPO and RTO KPIs defined by the customer?
Warm Regards,
Harshad Mishrikotkar.
