Alternate URLs For WSDLs

Hello Team,

Usually endpoint for webservice is obtained from Display WSDL in ICO and same can be used for testing which contains the GUID

Is there any alternate URL for same with just system/Interface details in the URL.

Version of PI is SAP PO 7.4.

Hi Raghuraman,

If you publish your ICO on the Service Registry (SR), you can get different URLs from the SR.

But all URLs contain the GUID.So just want to have any alternate URL.

Can you elaborate why you need this ?

Another option is to create an HTTP alias and directory. Keep your xsd, wsdl, etc there access it using a URL.

The path will look something like..

http://<pihost>:<port>/<alias name>/<wsdl/xsd name>

Hello Arun,

Whenever we get WSDL endpoint from ICO we get GUID,Instead of that something like service/business name is required.

HTTP alias how you will maintain in PI?

URL Like Host:Port/myservice

So that whenever the system changes only host and port to be changed ,instead of changing system details

Hello Raghu ,

When you generate WSDL from ICO , then in the end of the WSDL definition you can find the WSDL URL having interface and namespace details(Both HTTP and HTTPs URl). Is this you are looking for?
