Dear,

I encounter another error, which refers to 'Adjust Name Table'. I don't know what kind of problem it is and which log I should take a loot at. It just shows me where I need to reach it out.

Can I have any help from you?

Hello George,

SAP Kernel is divided in 2 parts:

- Database independent, which contains kernel files and programs that are not related to the database. The programs can be used for any database (SAPEXE.SAR)

- Database-specific, which contains all programs that are used with the database. This is why you download it by selecting a database (SAPEXEDB.SAR)

You always must download both parts of the kernel, otherwise the kernel will not be consistent.

Download both parts from the same version, also download the latest patches for R3*tools and lib_dbsl*.

I will check it. But what's the difference between #DB independent and database-specific?

Hello George Yu,

You are using a very old kernel during this installation. As you could noticed, the kernel is from 2011! I strongly recommend you to update the kernel to the latest version available for SAP Kernel 7.21.

SAP Kernel 7.20 is out of maintenance, SAP Kernel 7.21 has replaced it, as described in SAP note:

1975687 - SAP Kernel 7.21 (EXT) replaces SAP Kernel 7.20 (EXT) as standard kernel in Q1/2015

The latest version of SWPM always expect the newest version of SAP Kernel to properly run.

You can update your kernel by following the SAP note below:

19466 - Downloading SAP kernel patches

After updating the kernel, run the SWPM tool again. If the issue remains, please let me know.

Dear Henrique,

I've already download the latest version for Kernel.

Mark as red circle in first picture is what I've downloaded for components.

The second one is where I downloaded the Kernel and what I downloaded it.

I've tried to use R3load with this version to fix the issue at "Import ABAP" phase. It worked.

If this version is fine, the rest of components should be fine as well.

Hello ,

Please, note that you must download the SAPEXE.SAR file from #Database independent section as well. Note that the kernel is split in 2 parts: SAPEXE.SAR and SAPEXEDB.SAR.

After downloading this, you can also download the latest patch level of R3*tools and lib_dbsl (as you already did).

after completion you can perform manually as shown  with below command.
